Southern Dandies Southern Dandies you're right...it's not a clear cut case of me taking him back...reading your 1st post, i thought you were being magnanimous and so I gratefully responded. My mistake. I don't think anyone will think you're in the wrong here....you're just unnecessarily being a hard ass. For what it's worth, my take on these situations has always been in favor of the original owner....there's no need to to screw over managers based on technicalities and oversights....there are plenty of legitimate ways of doing that throughout the season. That said, I'll leave it up to the rest of you guys as to the decision here.

This is WELL past (2.5 months) the deadline for prospect list trimming and all of that; historically, MLB players who people want to retain the rights to, needed to be placed on lists... to say otherwise is basically to have been allowing an extra roster spot... and its really not like I poached him the first possible day. that said, I'll respect the opinion of the league, and if people really think I'm in the wrong here, Ill give him up.
